Common questions about what Lantr is, who it is for, and how the current beta works.
Lantr is a presentation tool built around argument first, slides second. It helps you figure out what your room needs to believe, pressure-test the logic, and then shape the presentation around that point.
Lantr is for anyone building a presentation that needs to persuade a room, especially founders and students. If you already have ideas, notes, a draft, or a paper, Lantr helps you turn that into a sharper presentation.
They generate slides from prompts. Lantr makes you build the story first, then helps you turn that into a presentation. We're a process tool, not a slide generator.
The Director is Lantr's built-in AI collaborator. It pushes on weak logic, unclear claims, floating evidence, and places where the story loses force, so you can strengthen the presentation before you are in the room.
Only if you want it to. The Director can write with you, critique your structure, or stay hands-off. You set the mode.
Mac first, iPad soon. Windows coming later.
Yes. We want early users who care about this problem and want to shape the product.
Your presentation files stay local on your device. When you use AI features, only the content needed for that request is processed. For more detail, see the Privacy Policy.
Lantr is currently in beta. The Mac app is available now, and there is a waitlist for everyone else.
